Lightly Steamed Japanese Green Tea
Sencha is a premium green tea from Japan that is made from early season tea leaves. Our Sencha is made from the highest quality green tea leaves from southwestern Shizuoka, Japan. The young tea leaves are lightly-steamed to preserve the full flavor of the tea, and the leaves produce a clean, light-green cup of delicious tea. This tea is full of antioxidants and flavor, so the leaves can be steeped multiple times until the flavor is gone.

We recommend steeping 2 tsp of Japanese Sencha for 1-2 minutes with 8 oz of 175℉ water.
This tea can (and should) be steeped multiple times. Simply add 1 additional minute of steeping time for each re-steep. Let the second cup steep for 3 minutes, and the third cup should steep for 4 minutes. You can continue to re-steep your Sencha until the tea runs out of flavor.
