Japanese Green Tea with Roasted Rice
Genmaicha is one of the most popular types of tea in Japan. Our Genmaicha is a blend of early season Sencha tea leaves and lightly roasted rice with the perfect balance of nutty and sweet. Genmaicha has a strong roasted aroma and taste sweet, complex undertones. Contains caffeine.

We recommend steeping 2 tsp of Genmaicha for 2 minutes with 8 oz of 175℉ water.
Genmaicha can (and should) be steeped multiple times. Simply add 1 additional minute of steeping time for each re-steep. Let the second cup steep for at least 4 minutes, and the third cup should steep for 5 minutes. You can continue to re-steep your Genmaicha until the tea runs out of flavor.
